Overview
This guide provides the instructions on how to manage Sangoma Apps User Licenses. Once a license is assigned to a user a welcome email will be sent out to the user with instructions and a link to the app’s guide.

License Configuration Steps
- Log into the Business Voice Portal.
- Select Configuration at the top of the page.
- Select License management in the left sidebar..
- Proceed to the appropriate sections below based on the licensing requirements.
Meet, Chat, and Connector License Configuration
① Select the desired application.
② Optionally enter a search criteria to find users.
③ Select the users to be updated.
④ Select the License Type for each user.
⑤ To do bulk changes, after selecting the users to be updated, at the bottom of the page click on the Change license dropdown and select the License Type to be assign to the selected users.
SMS StarMessenger License Configuration
The StarMessenger application has been replaced with the Sangoma SMS application. All existing StarMessenger Licenses were transferred to Sangoma SMS. See below for Sangoma SMS info. |
Sangoma SMS License Configuration
It is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT that Business Voice customers, using our SMS/MMS apps, register their numbers to campaigns in the Sangoma TCR Portal at https://smscampaigns.sangoma.com. Due to government regulations, as of June 1st, 2023, any outbound SMS/MMS sent from numbers that do not belong to a registered campaign will NOT be delivered to US-based mobile numbers.
① Select the Sangoma SMS.
② Search and Select a user.
③ Select a previously purchased, registered and unassigned DID.
④ Select the License Type.
