Overview
The asset lists in the BV portal gives a snapshot of all assigned assets at any given location. To view this data across multiple locations, the report can also be run at a customer level as well.
This feature is available on both BV and BV+ locations for all assigned assets.
Accessing Asset List
- Access the Business Voice portal and select the CONFIGURATION option at the top of the page
- Search and Select the required location
- From the Left Side Menu
- Select Other Tools
- Select Location assets list [.csv] OR Customer assets list [.csv]
Running the Asset Lists Reports
Selecting the Location assets list OR the Customer asset list will automatically trigger a download in comma separated value (.csv) format.
Once downloaded, the document will be available in the native downloads/ default folder of the user's machine. All reports will display the following information:
- Customer Name
- Customer Number
- Location Name
- Location Number
- Device Type: these will correlate with the selected device type when setting up the user/ extension
- Equipment Type: the categories here are Extension, Multi-extension, Analog or Starbox (for BV+ locations)
- Extension Name
- Extension #
- Remote?: Will return a Y or N depending on whether that user/ extension was set up as remote
- MAC Address: will be displayed if entered for that device
Location assets list
- The report will be generated for the location that is currently being viewed in portal at the time that the link is selected
- The default name of the report will be “Customer_Name,_Customer_Location_inventory”
- Once downloaded, the .csv can be manipulated/ sorted as desired
Customer assets list
- The report will be generated for all locations associated with the customer account
- The default name of the report will be “Customer_Name,_AllLocations_inventory”
- The report will be default sorted by location name and will display ALL the assets in each location before displaying the next location- once downloaded, the .csv can be manipulated/ sorted as desired
