StarPhone for iPhone combines a full-featured IP telephone application with advanced Presence and Voicemail tools. This easy-to-use softphone allows Users to place and receive calls using their company’s Star2Star telephone system.

Important!:  A User must have a StarPhone™ Mobile extension;  the application must be downloaded and installed on the User’s mobile phone. 

Features include:

  • Presence indicator: Users show as Green for available, Red for busy, Yellow for ringing and Blue for dialing.
  • Favorites list for frequently called numbers with one-touch dialing.
  • Contacts list for calls outside your organization.
  • Voicemail inbox with one-touch access to voicemail.
  • Full 9-1-1 service
  • Call Transfer
  • Conference Calling
  • User Authentication
  • Calls can be placed over Wi-Fi and 3G/4G Networks
  • Push Notification capability (information can be sent to your phone via a badge, alert or pop-up message when the app is not in use.)

Note: Due to the way the application works with Notifications, even when the application is not running to conserve battery life, it is not suitable for an Agent to use with StarCenter®.
